All plates are manufactured in Germany with highest tolerances especially for flatness and plate finish.
Plates are manufactured from special steels, which is hardened, tempered, ground and polished.

Backing plates

KnifeSol supply backing plates produced in Germany in CR50 material, hardened at 45-50 HRC, both sides grinded Ra 0.7-1.2 µm and worked in accordance to your drawings or sample plates in accordance to following tolerances:

– Size ± 0.5 mm
– Thickness ± 0.1 mm
– Max. parallelism 0.03 mm

Die cutting plates

KnifeSol supply die cutting plates produced in Germany in Wst. Nr. 1.4034 material or Böhler N702 material (Wst. Nr. 1.4542; AISI 630) hardened at 45-50 HRC, both sides std. grinded Ra 1.2-2.5 µm and worked in accordance to your drawings or sample plates in accordance to following tolerances:

– Size ± 0.5 mm
– Thickness ± 0.1 mm
– Max. parallelism 0.03 mm
– Both sides std. grinded with roughness value Ra = 1.2-2.5 µm in acc. to DIN EN ISO 4287.
